From our family to yours

Dear parents,

Your daughter has relied on her family for advice and support for the past 18 or so years. Going away to college, she is gaining more independence and responsibility. We are excited that you have allowed your daughter the opportunity to share her college experience with us and we look forward to helping her make new friends, find mentors, and gain leadership experience.

As a member of Kappa Beta Gamma, our sisters:

  • Form Meaningful, Personal, and Professional Relationships

    • All of our members share the same goal of social, moral, and intellectual development. Our sisters encourage each other in their personal and professional pursuits and know they can rely on each other for support throughout their collegiate years and beyond.

  • Foster Teamwork

    • All of our members learn to work as a team. Our sisters collaborate with those inside and outside of our organization in completing a similar goal to serve their fellow sisters, their campus, and the community. They will have the opportunity to build relationships with people from many different cultures and backgrounds.

  • Develop Leadership Skills

    • All of our members have the opportunity to hold leadership positions throughout their collegiate years. These opportunities continue after she graduates. We also provide leadership development to our members through other means such as workshops and conferences.

  • Have a Servant’s Heart

    • Each semester, our chapter hosts a minimum of two philanthropy events. One of those events is to benefit the Special Olympics while the other serves MADD, our local philanthropy. Sisters connect with kindhearted, like-minded individuals to flourish in compassion and charity.
