The Alpha Tau chapter's local philanthropy supports Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
Our Events
Polar Plunge
Starball
And much more!

The Polar Plunge is a fundraiser we hold for the Special Olympics, our international philanthropy. We raise money for votes, and voters choose five sisters to get plunged into cold water. We have used ice buckets and jumped into Lake Ontario. In 2021, we raised over $500 for the Special Olympics!

Starball is an annual formal dance and dinner we hold for all the Alpha Tau chapter sisters, active or alum. It’s a night of delicious foods, dancing, and celebrating happy times with sisters!

I was shy and nervous before joining KBG. I was friendly but had trouble with making strong bonds of friendship. The sisters of KBG empowered me and helped me on my journey to becoming the confident woman I am today.
I joined Kappa Beta Gamma to be a part of a sisterhood and create lifelong friendships. My favourite part of KBG is all the amazing friendships and memories I’ve made with my sisters. Having sisters means always having a shoulder to lean on.
After being a part of KBG for only a few months, I have already made amazing friendships and had so much fun. The sisters in KBG are friendly and welcoming. We are one big family, everyone is accepted, and that’s why I love of being a part of KBG!
KBG is a wonderful group of women that I have had the pleasure of joining and have created amazing friendships. I know I have a strong support system with them by my side as we create lifelong memories together.
